East Midlands Freeport to Hold First Public Board Meeting

East Midlands Freeport will be holding its first public Board meeting on Thursday 24 July 2026, from 10:00am to 11:00am, at Rushcliffe Borough Council.
The meeting forms part of East Midlands Freeport’s commitment to engaging openly and collaboratively with local communities, businesses and stakeholders.
The public Board meeting will provide an opportunity for people to hear more about the Freeport’s work to date, understand its objectives and priorities, and learn more about how decisions are being made.
The session will include:
A welcome from the Chair
An overview from the Chief Executive on the Freeport’s objectives, achievements and strategic priorities
Short updates from each of the three tax site owners:
East Midlands Airport and Gateway Industrial Cluster
East Midlands Intermodal Park
Ratcliffe-on-Soar Power Station
A public question and answer session
The meeting will also be available to watch live via Microsoft Teams for those who wish to join remotely. Online attendees will be able to view the meeting but will not be able to participate.
