Burnaston Parish Councillor Election – Notice of Poll

A poll will be held for the election of one Parish Councillor for Burnaston on Thursday 30 July 2026. Polling stations will be open between 7:00am and 10:00pm.
The candidates standing for election are:
Carl Andrew Bailey and Paul McHugh
Both candidates have been validly nominated for election.
The polling station for Burnaston electors is:
Mickleover Country Park Social Club, Adjacent to Pastures Golf Club, Off Merlin Way, Mickleover
Residents who are registered to vote are encouraged to take part in the election. Please contact the Elections Officer at SDDC for further information relating to applications to register to vote, postal votes, voting by proxy, application to vote by emergency proxy at this election on the grounds of physical incapacity or for work/service reasons.

Please remember that you may need to bring an accepted form of photo ID when voting at the polling station.
